- Great With Wi-Fi

I bought mine a couple of months ago and it worked fine for a couple of weeks using the wall jack then something happened and my outgoing calls broke up and people couldn't hear me. I thought it was the jack so I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one but it didn't make any difference. It works fine if I plug it into my laptop and use the Wi-Fi.

I bought it to replace Bell. I use it for my home number, and when I travel to the states for the winter I take it with me and all my calls ring in Florida. Also if I miss a call the voice mail is emailed to me and I can pick it up on my cellphone. Also there is a magicjack app that allows me to make free calls anywhere in North America when I'm in a wifi area. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO A LANDLINE. THIS PRODUCT HAS SERVED ME PERFECTLY!!
- An amazing device.

I have been using magicJack for several years. It works very well and is quite inexpensive compared to a traditional land line. Also, I have found that the folks at magicJack have worked to improve their product over the years. When I first obtained the device I had to plug in into my computer to make or receive calls. That meant the computer had to always be on. Then the hardware was changed so one could connect directly to a router. Also, until about two years ago I could not get a local number and I could not port or transfer my current phone number to magicJack. That was changed so that users can usually port a Canadian number for a one-time fee.
