    • Excellent Router

I bought this Linksys as a replacement for a decade old Cisco which had reached the end of its usable lifespan. I did a good deal of research and found that this unit fits the bill for a medium sized house pretty much perfectly. My laptop, tablet, smart TV and iPhone connects without issue anywhere in the house whether in the basement or upstairs. Set up went off without a hitch and the new router was up and running in literally minutes. It was a no-brainer really. So far the connection has been rock solid stable. No drops. I like the app you can download to view your network including wired ethernet connections. Quite handy. The only downside is that the unit is twice the size of the old Cisco which required me to do some fiddling to get it to fit on my desk downstairs. I bought this on sale so it turned out to be a pretty solid deal. For a household with a lot of wireless devices like mine this Linksys is a very solid option.

    • 4th Router and Finally Success

Have gone through 3 other routers with Xplornet with very poor results from all of them. Finally returned the last one I purchased and the tech suggested I try this one. Setup was a breeze, 1st attempt success and now 24 hours in no dropped connection. Have good signal throughout my house without using an extender. I would highly recommend, especially if you have Xplornet.

    • Don't waste your time, unreliable

Purchased this router on March 31st, had it set up and operational by 3pm ... by 9 PM the same day, the router was already dropping the internet connection. Had to reset the router multiple times and still had the same issue. Don't waste your time with this router
