- Perfect - I compared them directly to my $450 MDR-1A's and these sound the same if not betterby Aaden Beauchamp

these sound the same if not better than my MDR-1A's, definitely can stand up to the QC35 from bose. Perfectly comfortable and stylish look, I recommend the Grey model. Quality wise they are top notch, The Noise cancellation is standard to the QC35's if not a tad better. Definitely a Recommend

This is an awesome product for this price range. I would recommend this product. Only complaint is that instead of a carry bag for the headset, a better quality case could have been provided.
- I like them but...by Émile

The sound is really good on these headphones. I love the Bass Effect option, how easy it is to control the headphones without touching the phone and how comfortable they are. However, the noice cancelling is really bad. When I tried the headphones at my local store, I was like "That sound cancelling is pretty good!", but that's only because they were loud.

The headphones were working fine. As soon as the 1-year warranty was up the left side stopped working. Zero sound. I haven't even used them that much either. What a waste of money and garbage quality from Sony.

These headphones are INCREDIBLE. The noise cancelling feature makes for clearly consistent audio that blocks out surround sound. Bass is solid and makes listening to music more visceral and immersive. Sound quality is A1, vocals are always clear and instruments are picked up well. Great battery life for long periods of use and extremely comfortable over the ear fit. Hands-free volume control, song selection and use of NC, bass and Bluetooth accessories make listening on the go easy as well.

Invest in better headphones. This is the second time I’m buying Sony headphones and they both had the same thing happen (the structure on the outside cracked and broke). The other model I had were the Sony MDRX-950B1/B, broke after 2 years. Decided to pay more for noise cancelling this time thinking it would last longer...BROKE IN 10 MONTHS. Sony is selling defective products and won’t cover them under their warranty. Invest a little more and buy headphones that will last because trust me if you buy these you will regret it, I sure did.
- Bad Noise Cancellationby Meghan

Very disappointed with the noise cancellation feature on the headphones, it doesn't work. As a university student with ADHD I found noise cancelling headphones to be helpful to study with and have used some in the past. In store, the associate suggested this pair for me because the Bose ones were not in my price range. I told the associate that I just want to use the the noise cancelling feature and do not listen to music with them and he said these should be good. After getting home and trying them once, I found out that they do not work at all for cancelling out noise and called the support line for Best Buy. I voiced my concerns and the associate said I would not be able to return them because they were opened and there were no exceptions. Very upset with the service and product, a waste of money.

Positive: - Great sound. - Love that I can walk around with them. Negative: - The plastic on the earpieces broke on both sides within 3 months. Had to crazy glue them frequently afterwards. - The sound drops frequently from the bluetooth and makes a sharp painful sound.

Bought these Sony headphones as recommended by sales person ... they sounded good in store and initially when I paired them to my TV. I also tried them on my ipad and blackberry ... Made sure there was a full charge and started watching TV ... received a loud crack in my ear and thought they had snapped for some reason ... checked them over and began watching again ... all was well until I got another loud crack ... tried different channels and the same thing occurred ... Will try another brand such as Bose or Sennheiser ...

These headphones are exceptional! I've had them for almost a month now, and I can honestly say I find it hard to say something negative about them! Sound quality is superb, and thanks to the app, you can adjust bass settings (that the headphones remember) so as to better suit your musical taste or your genre of choice. As for me, turning the bass all the way up is the way to go! The bass is amazing, very clear and not overpowering, even on songs where it already had a strong presence. They're super comfortable, but they are pretty bulky. I do feel a little silly walking around with these on in public. Honestly, their bulkiness is about the only negative thing about these headphones. Everything else gets an A++!
