Upgraded from an older model Sharp Aquos to this one ! Great value for the price especially on sale at BB !! colours are bright and sharp and whilst it's not the top or medium line from Sharp - it's does it's job sufficiently well ! I just wish it would default to TV mode when turning on instead of the main smart TV/Roku splash (or perhaps I just haven't toyed with it enough in the 3 days since buying it). Also wish the bottom legs were a lot closer together (centered) and it over stradles my entertainment stand and toes outward. The old Aquos line had a better and compact tv stand. Anyways it's a good choice for those who don't want to splash more bucks than necessary on top of the line ranges from the panel makers.

Pros: Tv is what I expected, price was good, picture is nice, Roku interface is good, setup is easy and all that. Con: Personally I find the tv has the "soap opera effect" which you can't really remove since it is using the Roku interface. You can reduce the motion to low in the advanced settings "motion smoothing" but to me it still makes movies feel kinda cheesey. I don't know call me old fashioned but for a 2017 tv I would think they could have solved this annoying problem by now like some of their competitors.

Got it few days ago, so far I’m in love with it. Excellent image quality, operating system is very fast and good, remote that comes with it is nice. Nice frame rate. Was a bit of a pain to set up roku the first time setting up, but other than that highly recommend this TV on sale.

For a budget model TV this unit is fantastic. The viewing angles are extremely good. The brightness is more than enough for a brightly lit room, and the sharpness and upscaling is at least as good as other more expensive models.. I always calibrate my monitors, and this unit was as close to perfect as I have experienced. After adjustments, the sharpness was spot on, The white balance and contrast achieved reference quality. And the colors were *almost* perfect. I was able to adjust the blues and Reds to 100% of the raw signal. Only the greens were slightly off, with 80%, and that is nothing to sneeze at. That is a VERY respectable color gamut for a budget TV. Every monitor is different, and uses different video processing, but this is the first time I have been able to set a 100% on ANY TV's color representation. I wish it had been all three of the main colors, but I'll take it. The factory brightness is set too high, but after pulling it down to 50%, and the back light to 80% I achieved a very natural and watchable image. Out of the box, this unit is set to "torch mode". It is meant to grab your attention in the store, but you are going to have to tweak the settings if you are going to live with this image every day. The black level on the TV is VERY good. There are certainly better, more expensive TVs out there with deeper blacks, but for the price of this one, it exceeds everything else in its class. Bottom line, this TV is capable of generating an exceedingly excellent picture quality that you would have to spent 2, 3 or 4 times more to see any better. Nitpicks that didn't affect the score for me. 1. This unit comes with Roku built in. I would have much preferred an Android smart TV, but this is not a deal breaker. For what it is, Roku works very well, and would be a good addition for most users. 2. The speakers are only so-so. As I use a quality surround sound system, I am not using the speakers on the TV anyhow. But some people might have an issue with this. 3. The remote control is small, and rather cheap. It does what it is supposed to do, of course, but I would have liked something larger, and possibly back-lit. I will be upgrading to a universal, programmable remote anyhow, so for me, it doesn't matter much, but for a user that sticks with the original remote, it could prove frustrating. 4. The 60hz refresh rate does not make this TV the best option for 4K gamers. High speed objects depicted on screen can blur or stutter if you look close. Again, I don't really care, because this TV is exclusively being used for movies and TV. Yet I can imagine for some this could be a deal breaker. Overall, I am extremely happy with this TV. It does exactly what it says on the box, and it does it very well. Watching a 4K signal on it was extremely rewarding to see the detail and depth of this image. It also upscales a 1080p signal beautifully. If you are on a budget, you will have a hard time finding a better TV for the money. I know there are better TVs out there, but not in this price point. Highly recommended.

I purchased this Sharp/Roku 65 inch TV at BestBuy in Windsor. Great picture and easy to use APPs. ROKU has to be the easiest streaming TV platform to use. Having it built into the TV makes it even easier. Incredible value too at 799.99 (on special).
