TV arrived defective. Opened. Mounted. Turning on and off by itself in a loop like a blinking signage of "Sharp Roku TV". waste of time.

I purchased this T.V during the boxing day sale due to my LG I had for 7 years dying out on me. I was hesitant to buy SHARP as I had burn-in issues with my first flat screen when they first came out. But the sale price was decent so I figured why not. Well, the first one I had ordered online came and I hooked it up only to have it sit stuck on the loading screen turning itself on and off. I could not turn the T.V off at all, nothing Geek Squad suggested worked, so I said the heck with it boxed it up and brought it back only to have a runaround being told it would be repaired and cost me, Huh? I purchased a warranty so that didn't seem right, (a new T.V, not even 45 minutes out of the box repaired? I don't think so) I disagreed and wanted a straight exchange, I ended up sent back home with the same T.V due to it being out of stock. a few days later I saw it was in stock again and reserved it to pick up in store. Exchange went fine. Got the t.v home, worked well but then I noticed flash lighting/clouding in the corners and centre of the T.V. Such frustration. I don't drive so returning such a big T.V by cab or bus is a pain to do, so the heck with it I kept the t.v. The sound is not the greatest, I don't see a huge difference with this T.V's 4K compared to my none 4K T.V. I have never used Roku before so I am new to it, the remote is a Roku remote (which I don't like) it has 4 buttons dedicated to certain apps, Netflix, Deezer, Bein Sports, and Crackle which is a useless button since Crackle is no longer working in Canada. Directional buttons, Home Button, Pause, FastForward, Reverse, Sleep, Back, Power and another back button, Options *, volume and mute are on the side. So pretty basic remote. I wish It had a different remote. The home screen is easy to navigate at least. This T.V is at the lower end with Sharp. Also, there is no on-off button or volume on the T.V itself so don't misplace your remote! The only physical button on the T.V itself is an input button. All in all, I am not happy with this purchase but I suppose I am stuck with it.

my 6 years old HD Samsung TV was way better quality than this one (image quality and sound). Didn't feel the 4K experience at all. Not worth it

I bought that tv online, the tv is working very well can add many apps ,good sound clear image. The delivery was a mess , purolator have planned date but nothing was respected .They deliver 2 days after the estimated date when there was nobody at home so they left a card mentioning the parcel will be to their facility the day after I've been to their facility the day after the time mentioned and there was no parcel there , so I called purolator service center wait for 30 minutes on the line N/A.I wrote to then through their online customers service never got any answer. Finally 2 days after the parcel has been deliver to their facility.I don't know who or what system plan those delivery date but it is a mess , never again I will order online .

Totally disappointed with this purchase. TV does not go online and update apps. Therefore a user is stuck with the pre-loaded apps on the TV. For me, to be able to use CTV Go and other Canadian TV apps was especially important, and this TV lacks this. I will be returning.

Picture is sharp, crisp clear and colour accurate. You will love this TV!!
- Great TV so far!by Jake White

I've had this TV for a couple of weeks now. Seems to work well so far. I got it on sale for around half off and couldn't pass up the deal! Colors are great, picture is beautiful and very crisp at 4k. HDR works perfect on Xbox one X. Response time is very good too, with gamer mode on I was able to play SNES classic games like Super Mario world with no lag at all. Roku is a nice touch if you don't have a PC or gaming system to watch YouTube and Netflix, built in Wifi works great too! Nothing bad to say about it so far, hopefully it doesn't break down on me. Only thing I can think of that was a bit annoying was the learning curve on the menu and settings. It took me a little while to learn that you need to enable HDMI 2.0 on each individual input if you want them to use certain features like HDR etc. Menu not as user friendly as it could be, but I was able to figure everything out, so it's a minor complaint.
