This is a great laptop for school and for all purpose things. Although the only factor thatinfluenced my decision to give this product a 3 stars is the battery. The battery is terrible doesnt last near 12hours. I have to recharge it every two days when ive used it for barely 2 hours on each day. Terrible battery.
- Nice design/build, Works very well, Battery life lower than I expectedby Blair M.

Ordered this for use to start up a small at home business. Very compact, great build, keyboard and trackpad are very responsive. This is my first experience with Mac product, as I usually stick with PC, and I am really happy with it so far. Battery life doesn't seem to be what they publish, but I have been using some video editing stuff, so that could be the culprit.
- Overheating Issues / Crashingby Robert

I had a 2010 MacBook Pro that lasted me 6 years without issue, so last year I decided to upgrade to the MacBook Air because I thought it would be perfect for school. What a mistake that was. I've had this computer for one (1) year now and I have had to have it serviced three (3) times already! Considering the price of this notebook, I find it really unacceptable. I thought I was paying for quality but my computer has now been sent off for servicing and will be gone for almost a month. This is all happening three days before school is about to begin (unbelievable!). Thankfully I paid for the ultimate protection package from Geek Squad and they have given me a loaner Macbook to use while mine is being serviced. In summary, I would definitely not recommend this laptop. I would however, totally recommend the Geek Squad warranty, it's a life saver.

Excellent book, 4 stars because of non retina display, team should be increased. Overall excellent for presentation and documentation jobs. But not recommended for heavy works.
